Projected Impacts of Proposed Federal Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards on the North Carolina Economy (August 2009) Final Report to Bipartisan Policy Center by Burton English, Kim Jensen, Jamey Menard, and Daniel De La Torre Ugarte Dept of Agricultural: The analysis looks at the economic effects of a federal Renewable Energy Standard (RES) in multiple states including North Carolina. It projects that a 25 percent RES in 2025 would increase gross receipts by an estimated $16,028 per farm in North Carolina.
