Energy Trends: Highlights on consumer energy usage

Renewable energy sources are at the heart of the emerging green economy, and if consumers have any say, solar would be their carbon neutral source of choice - 37% preference. Nationwide, 27% of households use 10 or more compact fluorescent lightbulbs and about 60 percent of households use 4 or more CFLs.
