Global Climate Change: North Carolina Here and Now will feature a distinguished panel of speakers, including Tancred Miller, NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources; Katherine M. Shea, Maternal and Child Health Professor, UNC Chapel Hill; and June Blotnik, Executive Director, Clean Air Carolina; with special guests Mary G. Wilson, President, League of Women Voters of the U.S.; Pricey Harrison, Representative NC House; and Danielle Adams, Supervisor, Durham Soil and Water Conservation District.

The forum will begin with a screening of Sisters on the Planet, a short documentary by Oxfam America that tells the stories of women from around the world who have helped their communities cope with the effects of climate change.
