Christian Hunt will discuss the history, biology, threats, political atmosphere, and benefits that the Red Wolf brings to our ecosystem.

Christian is responsible for elevating Defenders’ red wolf campaign efforts through grassroots outreach, community organizing, and strategic communications.

Christian graduated from law school in 2015, where he studied environmental law, with a particular emphasis on climate change and the law, the Endangered Species Act, and habitat connectivity. As a native of the state, Christian has also participated in local and grassroots projects throughout the Piedmont and Blue Ridge of North Carolina.

Christian holds a J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, N.C., and a B.S. in Geography from UNC-Charlotte.
