Volunteer Oyster Shell Bagging and Restoration Event

The Coastal Federation needs volunteers for an oyster shell bagging event at the Waterway Park on Oak Island. Volunteers will fill mesh bags with oyster shells, that will be used later to create an oyster reef. Learn about oysters and help restore them. All day event, but volunteers are welcome for anytime. Event is suitable for adults, organized groups, and supervised children aged 10+. There will be activities to accommodate a wide range of physical ability. All supplies and refreshments provided. Preregistration requested. Thank you.
