Winyah Rivers Foundation is proud to be a part of the North Carolina Alliance for the Protection of Our People and the Places We Live (APPPL) and to participate in the Walk to Protect Our People and the Places We Live. The walk will take place along the 205 mile proposed route of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline in NC beginning on Saturday March 4 at the Virginia-North Carolina border in Northhampton County and ending two weeks later in Hamlet. Join us as we raise awareness of this risky and unnecessary fracked gas pipeline…walk for a mile, walk for a day or walk the entire route! All are invited to participate in any way you can!
