Experience the essence of coastal North Carolina by attending the First Annual Toast to the Coast Wine Festival on Saturday, May 24, 2008 in Wilmington, NC.
A silent auction will run throughout the course of the event, with proceeds benefiting the Cape Fear Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. The event will showcase the diverse styles of sixteen wineries, savory local cuisine and live musical entertainment on the rolling grounds of Hugh MacRae Park.
The festivities will commence for VIP guests at 11 a.m. as the vibrant rhythms of the Sea Pans set the tone for the day. The gates will open to general ticket holders at noon and the Cosmic Groove Lizards will take the stage at 1:30 p.m. The final performance, consisting of the soulful tunes of Jim Quick & Coastline, will begin at 4 o'clock and run through the festival's conclusion at 6 p.m.
