Functions:<br>
1. To implement the annual goals and objectives of the organization.<br>
2. To give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy and mission.<br>
3.To advise the Board on strategic and emerging issues for long-range planning.<br><br>
Major Functions/Accountabilities:<br>
1. Board Administration and Support – Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, acknowledging and supporting Board’s evaluation of Executive Director.<br>
2. Program, Product and Service Delivery – Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, events and services, especially to ensure they are verified to meet
specific needs in the community.<br>
3. Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management – Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages J-MCA’s resources within those budget guidelines and the Board’s Financial Policy.<br>
4. Human Resource Management – Effectively manages the human resources of J-MCA according to approved personnel policies and procedures.<br>
5. Community and Public Relations – Ensures that J-MCA and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented to the public in a strong and positive image utilizing the
input of all Board Members.<br>
6. Fundraising – Supports the Board in its fundraising planning and implementation. Identify resource requirements for grants and research funding sources, establish strategies to approach funders, submit proposals, and administrate fundraising records and documentation.
