Information

The North Carolina Composting Council (NCCC) cordially invites members, partners, and friends to attend our full-day 2026 Annual Meeting on June 17, 2026 in Raleigh at North Carolina State University’s Plant Sciences Building.

This year’s theme, “Shaping the Future of Composting: Policy, Markets, and Momentum,” illustrates how strategic involvement can grow market demand, evolve policy and drive critical advancements for composting across North Carolina. From expanding end-market opportunities to strengthening regulatory support and infrastructure, the theme captures how collaboration and innovation are accelerating industry growth, creating jobs, and enhancing sustainable waste solutions statewide.

Attendees will hear from NCCC leadership, NC compost industry experts, the US Composting Council, and more to be announced! The program will also feature reports from NCCC’s grant recipients: Bountiful Cities- Asheville, Happy Roots, Toxic Free NC, and Zealous Empowering Nurturer (ZEN)!

Join us for a dynamic day of learning, collaboration, and networking as we explore how composting is expanding markets, informing policy, and building momentum for a more resilient and prosperous composting industry in North Carolina!
