We will be harnessing the power of intersectionality to help us understand how racism, militarism, and materialism (Dr. Martin Luther King jr’s Giant Triplets) can interact and compound inequality, and how seemingly separate struggles can intersect and lead to unique challenges and hardships.
Back by popular demand: The Fireside Chat! This year it will include Intergenerational Storytelling, and more.
We also brought back the Government Listening Session, invited representatives from 39 counties, and are getting a good number of confirmations. We’ve sent out invites to NC politicians (incumbent and new candidates), candidates for supreme court judges, governors, and a range of NC governmental agencies.
There will be Focus Groups, Learning Panels, Strategy Sessions, and Time to Build Relationships. We’re limiting our events to only one concurrent event because all these subjects and panelists are so powerful, we didn’t want you to miss any of them.
There will be delicious food, music and award celebrations!
