Charlotte’s largest annual Earth Day celebration returns on Saturday, April 20th at the Charlotte Museum of History. We invite the entire Charlotte community to join us for a day packed with engaging activities, environmental education, and outdoor family fun!

This year’s celebration promises an unforgettable experience for children and families alike. Attendees will be able to explore and interact with dozens of exhibiting organizations from the area, each showcasing their work in conservation, sustainability, and environmental justice.

Families will navigate the event’s four central Knowledge Stations guided by an “Earth Passport.” At each station, they will delve into captivating themes and participate in hands-on activities organized by Charlotte-based nonprofits and businesses. Group activities and performances will also be hosted throughout the day.

Charlotte Earth Day is free to attend, with meal tickets available for purchase. For more information on our Earth Day celebration, please visit
