Dr. David Wear of the U.S. Forest Service will give a presentation about the impacts of climate change in the Southeast and specifically in North Carolina.
David is a Project Leader on the Economics of Forest Protection and Management at the Forest Service and has authored many studies and reports on climate change impacts in the Southeast. Harvey Richmond, Capital Group Executive Committee member and retired EPA Risk Analyst, will also give an overview of the Sierra Club’s 2015 climate change initiatives in North Carolina and how you can get involved.
