Summer Explorations – Climate Action through Urban Forestry 2021 – Ages 14-17
Trees are among the oldest living things on the planet. Forests are fascinating and complex ecosystems that are a stabilizing force for the climate. Join us to learn more about resilient tree species, urban forestry, and important forest management practices that can be used in your own neighborhood to promote forest sustainability where you live.

This is one of eight different workshops that will be offered through the Center for the Environment at Catawba College this summer. To learn about other workshops offered, visit www.catawba.edu/explorations. Applications are required. The cost of each workshop is $50. Financial assistance is available on an as-needed basis.
