Summer Explorations – The Vernal Pool Survey – Ages 14-17
Vernal pools provide vital wildlife habitat for more than 500 animal species in the eastern U.S. Join us for a vernal pool survey in the Fred Stanback, Jr. Ecological Preserve to monitor rare and endangered species, changes in biodiversity, and help develop effective management strategies to protect them into the future!

Additional Information

This is one of eight different workshops that will be offered through the Center for the Environment at Catawba College this summer. To learn about other workshops offered, visit www.catawba.edu/explorations. Applications are required. The cost of each workshop is $50. Financial assistance is available on an as-needed basis.
