Want to make a positive impact on our waterways? Join us for a cleanup!
We’ll provide all the necessary supplies—just bring some closed-toed shoes and a friend! Together, we can help keep our rivers and streams clean and healthy. We can’t wait to see you there!
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to clean up trash from the creek and on land.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Since we’ll be working in and around water, please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing that can get wet. We also recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to stay comfortable while working outside. We will provide all necessary supplies for the cleanup, including gloves, waders, and trash bags.
What should volunteers know about the location?
We will meet at the Washington Dog Park (corner of Brown St. and 4th St.) , where one of our trash traps is located. We will hand out supplies and begin the cleanup on land and in the creek.
