This workshop will bring farmers together to share recovery experiences, identify priority needs, and explore practical strategies for continuing to rebuild their operations.
Sessions will cover affordable organic soil health practices, food safety considerations, and strategies to maintain or regain market access. Farmer input will help shape CFSA’s ongoing recovery support, advocacy, and programming.
Workshop Sessions:
- Building Soil Organic Matter: Affordable organic strategies to rebuild soil organic matter and identify low-cost, on-farm approaches.
- Food Safety & Market Access: Covering manure and compost use, water quality testing requirements, and strategies to maintain or regain market access.
- Relief Funding Updates Listening Session: CFSA hears from you about how your recovery progress is going and what your ongoing challenges are.
