Join us on Tuesday, January 13, 7:00-8:15pm, for an informative webinar that equips people of faith with the tools, confidence and spiritual grounding needed to connect with elected representatives on caring for creation and advocating for a fair and affordable energy system. The webinar is sponsored by Interfaith Creation Care of the Triangle and is co-sponsored by the NC Council of Churches Eco-justice Connection.
Rev. Susannah Tuttle, Director of the NCCC Eco-Justice Connection, will offer this virtual practical training. We hope it will inspire you to join a small group that connects with your representatives during the short Spring legislative session!
Susannah will cover:
1) who holds the power in the NC General Assembly,
2) the structure of the NC Utilities Commission,
3) the Governor’s Office,
4) the Department of Environmental Quality,
5) how to make appointments and schedule meetings with decision makers, and opportunities to design “What I Love” campaigns for congregations.
