Want to make a positive impact on our waterways? Join us for a trash trap cleanout!
We’ll provide all the necessary supplies—just bring some closed-toed shoes and a friend! Together, we can help keep our rivers and streams clean and healthy. We can’t wait to see you there!
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to clean up trash from the creek and along the banks.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Since we’ll be working in and around water, please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing that can get wet. We also recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to stay comfortable while working outside. We will provide all necessary supplies for the cleanup, including gloves, waders, and trash bags.
What should volunteers know about the location?
We will meeting in the parking lot of the Holloway Community Center, then we will walk over to the trash trap located to the right of the field near the walking bridge.
