The Water Quality for Fisheries Symposium is an annual event that provides a collaborative forum for the exchange of information on recent research, infrastructure best management practices, policy development, restoration and resilience projects, and advocacy that protects the quality of water and quality of life for all in coastal NC.

The 1st Water Quality for Fisheries Symposium will be held October 9, 10, 11, 2024.

This event will expand on CCRW’s Marine Debris Symposium to include work surrounding the top 5 water quality concerns identified by our Water Quality For Fisheries program:

  • Agriculture and Factory Farm Runoff
  • Stormwater Runoff
  • Industrial Pollutants
  • Plastic Pollution
  • Municipal Wastewater Treatment
