Bio
Eden is a senior at Appalachian State, double majoring in Sustainable Development and Geography, pursuing an accelerated master’s degree in Geography as well. Growing up in rural North Carolina gave Eden firsthand exposure to social and environmental justice issues. These experiences inspired them to get involved in environmental and social justice organizing inside of the academy and on the ground. Eden aspires to be a researcher-practitioner working at the intersections of place, people, and ecology.
