Karess Middleton is a junior at North Carolina Central University, double-majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a concentration in Theory & Pre-Law. Driven by a passion for civic engagement, voter education, and community advocacy, she aspires to become an attorney dedicated to advancing justice and serving her community. Karess aims to educate and empower communities by increasing civic participation and helping individuals understand the importance of making their voices heard through voting. She is also determined to help keep North Carolina’s communities and natural environments healthy, clean, and protected for future generations. She believes that education, service, and informed participation are essential to creating meaningful, lasting change.
