Bio

Katie, a junior at UNC Chapel Hill, is a double major in Environmental Geography and Psychology with a minor in Marine Science. She has a keen interest in exploring the intersection of environmental dynamics, coastal communities, and human behavior. Katie is a proud NC native, originally from the foothills region of North Carolina. On campus, she is a dedicated member of Epsilon Eta, a co-ed environmental honors fraternity dedicated to promoting camaraderie, conservation, and awareness of on-going environmental issues. In her free time, Katie loves to read, knit, and spend time outdoors with her family and friends. After college, Katie hopes to attain a Master’s degree in Climate and Environmental Policy.
